Processing personal data

WelcomeAtHome processes your personal data for your request in the contact form. By filling in the contact form, you give WelcomeAtHome permission to store your data, with the aim of contacting you at your request.

  • E-mail address (business or private)
  • The message you entered

We store your name for the purpose of contacting you. Which, in combination with your private e-mail address and telephone number, may be regarded as sensitive information.

In order to provide you with the best possible service, WelcomeAtHome needs to store your data in certain cases. WelcomeAtHome uses your personal data for:

  • being able to contact you in response to your contact request on the WelcomeAtHome website;
  • the execution of agreements, transactions and services;
  • relationship management;
  • complaint handling;
  • determining strategy and policy;
  • if necessary, identifying unlawful behavior with regard to WelcomeAtHome, its relations and its employees.

When visiting the website, no personal data will be collected by us without your permission. We do register data that does not contain personal information. This is to gain insight into how our website is used.

It is possible that on certain parts of our website you are asked for personal data, for example if you want to use a specific service. This information will only be used by us for the purpose described.

Retention period

WelcomeAtHome stores your data for the purpose of your contact request for as long as necessary to contact you. After that, WelcomeAtHome will delete this data.

 

Provision to third parties

WelcomeAtHome does not share your personal data with third parties if this is necessary to execute an agreement, to provide a certain service, when required by law or because of the storage in the database that hangs behind the contact form. WelcomeAtHome has concluded processor agreements with its suppliers (processors and/or sub-processors).

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or objection to the processing of your personal data to service@welcomeathome.nl.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at the latest within four weeks.

 

WelcomeAtHome would also like to point out that you have the option to submit a complaint via our contact form on the website or the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Data Security

WelcomeAtHome takes the protection of your data seriously and uses careful security procedures to protect the processed data, among other things to prevent unauthorized persons from unintentionally gaining access to this data. WelcomeAtHome takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. As soon as you submit the contact form for the registration of your contact request with your personal data, it will be sent securely (https). Due to the public nature of the internet, we cannot always guarantee 100% security of the transmission of information via the internet. If you feel that your data is not properly secured and/or there are indications of misuse, please contact us or via service@welcomeathome.nl.
